GENEVA, HOST CITY OF THE 2024 IDLTP
CONTRIBUTE TO THE GLOBAL EFFORT TOWARDS THE CREATION OF PEACEFUL AND INCLUSIVE SOCIETIES
The 7th edition of the International Day of Living Together in Peace (IDLTP) presents an opportunity for UN Member States, NGOs, schools, and civil society to collaborate and promote Education for the Culture of Peace. By working together, we can create peaceful and inclusive societies and foster a culture of peace.
Proposed complementary axes:
- An official celebration at the UN to advocate for Education for the Culture of Peace, thus revitalizing global implementation.
- A week of activities in schools and neighborhoods to raise awareness among younger generations about the Culture of Peace by transmitting essential values for a harmonious world.
- Festivities in public spaces to bring a dynamic energy to Living Together in Peace while raising individuals’ awareness of the fundamental issues underlying peaceful coexistence.
