GENÈVE, VILLE-HÔTE DE LA JIVEP 2024
Chaque année, la célébration de la JIVEP met à l’honneur une ville qui incarne les valeurs du Vivre Ensemble en Paix. L’opportunité est ainsi offerte aux acteurs de proximité – acteurs de premier plan dans la promotion du vivre ensemble – de se distinguer à cette occasion.
Après la ville de Turin (Italie) l’an dernier, la Ville de Genève (Suisse) a été désignée cette année ville hôte pour accueillir la 7ème édition de la JIVEP.
Placée sous le thème « La Paix au cœur de l’Education », cette 7ème édition rassemblera, dans ce haut lieu de gouvernance mondiale, connu pour son engagement historique en faveur de la médiation et de la paix, une série d’acteurs clés (Etats Membres de l’ONU, ONG, experts de l’éducation, société civile) autour de l’Education à la Culture de Paix.
La célébration officielle de la JIVEP 2024 se tiendra au Palais des Nations, dans le cadre d’un colloque international axé sur quatre thématiques d’avenir : la Culture de Paix, la Paix au cœur des enseignements et des apprentissages, la Paix économique et la Médiation réparatrice. En effet, chacune de ces thématiques revêt une importance cruciale pour œuvrer ensemble au développement de sociétés pacifiques et inclusives dans le monde.
Cette célébration officielle à l’ONU sera une opportunité de plaidoyer pour l’Éducation à la Culture de Paix et une occasion propice pour donner une nouvelle impulsion à sa mise en œuvre à travers le monde.
De nombreuses autres activités et festivités sont programmées dans ce cadre, à Genève comme ailleurs dans le monde.

Each year the celebration of the International Day for Living Together in Peace (IDLTP) pays homage to a different city which embodies the values of Living Together in Peace. This offers an opportunity to various local actors—those who play a prominent role in the promotion of “living togetherness”—to be highlighted on this special occasion.
Following in the footsteps of the city of Turin, Italy last year, the city of Geneva in Switzerland has been designated this year as host city of the 7th edition of the IDLTP.
Under the banner of « Peace at the Heart of Education”, this 7th edition will bring together in this unique center of global governance, known for its historic commitment in favor of mediation and peace-making, an impressive array of key actors (Member-States of the UN, Non-Governmental organizations, experts in education, actors from civil society, etc.) around the theme of “Education for a Culture of Peace”.
The official celebration of the 2024 IDLTP will be held in the Palace of Nations in the form of an international colloquium revolving around four major forward-looking themes: the Culture of Peace, peace at the heart of learning and training, economic peace, and mediation for reconciliation. To be sure, each of these themes is of the utmost importance in the quest to work together for the development of peaceful and inclusive societies around the world.
This official celebration at UN headquarters will provide an opportunity to make a plea for Education for a Culture of Peace, and a propitious occasion to give new momentum to its implementation throughout the world.
Numerous activities and festivities are being organized to further this goal, in Geneva and elsewhere around the world.

Cada año, la celebración del DICEP rinde homenaje a una ciudad que encarna los valores de la Convivencia en Paz. Se trata de una oportunidad para que los implicados locales – actores clave en la promoción de la convivencia – se distingan en esta ocasión.
Tras la ciudad de Turín (Italia) el año pasado, La Ciudad de Ginebra (Suiza) ha sido elegida ciudad anfitriona de la 7ª edición del DICEP de este año.
En torno al tema « La Paz en el corazón de la Educación», Esta 7ª edición reunirá en este lugar clave de la gobernanza mundial, conocido por su compromiso histórico con la mediación y la paz, a una serie de actores clave (Estados miembros de la ONU, ONG, expertos en educación, sociedad civil) en torno a la Educación a la Cultura de Paz.
La celebración oficial del DICEP 2024 tendrá lugar en el Palacio de las Naciones, en el marco de un coloquio internacional centrado en cuatro temáticas de futuro: la Cultura de Paz, la Paz en el corazón de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje, la Paz económica y la Mediación reparadora. En efecto, cada una de estas temáticas tiene una importancia crucial si queremos actuar juntos para desarrollar sociedades pacíficas e inclusivas en todo el mundo.
Esta celebración oficial en la ONU será una oportunidad para abogar por la Educación a la Cultura de Paz y una ocasión propicia para dar un nuevo impulso a su aplicación en todo el mundo.
Numerosas actividades y festividades están programadas en el marco de este evento, tanto en Ginebra como en el resto del mundo.

في كل عام، يسلط احتفال اليوم الدولي للعيش معا في سلام الضوء على مدينة تجسد قيم العيش معًا في سلام. ومن ثم فإن الفرصة متاحة للجهات الفاعلة المحلية والرائدة في تعزيز العيش المشترك لتميز نفسها في هذه المناسبة.
بعد مدينة تورينو بإيطاليا العام الماضي، تم اختيار مدينة جنيف بسويسرا هذا العام لاستضافة الطبعة السابعة من اليوم الدولي للعيش معا في سلام.
تحت شعار « السلام في قلب التربية« ، ستجمع الطبعة السابعة، في هذه المدينة الرفيعة للحوكمة العالمية، والمعروفة بالتزامها التاريخي بالوساطة والسلام، سلسلة من الجهات الفاعلة الرئيسية (الدول الأعضاء في الأمم المتحدة، والمنظمات غير الحكومية، خبراء التعليم والمجتمع المدني) حول التربية لثقافة السلام.
سيقام الاحتفال الرسمي بـاليوم الدولي للعيش معا في سلام 2024 في قصر الأمم، كجزء من مؤتمر دولي يسلط الضوء على أربعة مواضيع مستقبلية: ثقافة السلام، السلام في قلب التربية والتعليم، السلام الاقتصادي والوساطة التصالحية. في الواقع، فإن كل موضوع من هذه المواضيع له أهمية حاسمة في العمل معًا من أجل تنمية مجتمعات مسالمة وشاملة في العالم.
سيكون هذا الاحتفال الرسمي في الأمم المتحدة فرصة للدعوة إلى التربية لثقافة السلام وفرصة مواتية لإعطاء زخم جديد لتنفيذه في جميع أنحاء العالم.
كما يحتوي البرنامج على العديد من الأنشطة والاحتفالات الأخرى في هذا السياق، في جنيف وأماكن أخرى من العالم.
